Role Summary

The Financial Analyst (Business Finance) will support business performance through financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and decision support. This role is firmly rooted in commercial and business finance , partnering closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to deliver insights that drive profitability and efficiency.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing robust financial processes aligned with legislative and company requirements, while ensuring timely, accurate, and value-driven reporting.


Important: This role is not suitable for pure accounting profiles . We are seeking candidates with business, commercial, or supply chain finance experience who can interpret financial data and influence business decisions.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities


Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and business presentations.
  • Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast).
  • Consolidate financial and operational data from operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.
  • Translate financial data into actionable business insights.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Develop financial models, projections, and scenario analyses.
  • Track assumptions, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance.

Cost & Profitability Analysis

  • Analyse costs, margins, and key operational KPIs.
  • Monitor logistics, procurement, and overhead expenses.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and provide recommendations.

Business Partnering

  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Support decision-making through financial insights and performance tracking.
  • Contribute to cross-functional and strategic initiatives.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure accuracy of financial postings and documentation.
  • Maintain financial controls and compliance with company policies.
  • Support audit and governance requirements when needed.

Functional & Technical Competencies

  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including Power Query.
  • Strong Power BI capability for dashboards and reporting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Financial modelling, analysis, and data interpretation skills.
  • Educational Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of finance experience , with strong exposure to business, commercial, or supply chain finance .
    • Proven experience working closely with non-finance stakeholders.
    • Pure accounting, bookkeeping, or audit-only profiles without business finance exposure will not be considered .
