Financial Controller

Precision Appliance Leasing is a fast-growing washer and dryer leasing company serving multifamily communities and residents throughout Texas. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Controller to join our leadership team.

The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations of the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, managing the month-end close process, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with Quick books or accounting systems (experience with POR or similar systems is a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
