Position: Financial Controller (for Canadian & US Clients)

Time: 05:00 PM to 02:00 AM (Mon-Fri)

Location: Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Lahore (onsite job)

Salary Range: PKR 200,000 – 250,000 (Based on interview and relevant experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to lead financial operations and client-facing accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional English communication, and a solid background in managing international accounts. This role requires hands-on involvement in month-end closing, financial analysis, team supervision, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Close Oversight:

Lead and manage the full month-end close process across multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Client Communication:

Serve as the primary contact for client financial queries; handle complex questions directly and professionally with minimal supervision.

Cash Flow & Financial Metrics:

Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and monitor key financial metrics to support strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

Manage and mentor the bookkeeping team, review their work for accuracy and compliance, resolve team conflicts, and ensure productivity.

Operational Efficiency:

Identify and implement opportunities to streamline internal financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Accounting & Bookkeeping Support:

Overlap with the bookkeeping team as needed by assisting in reconciliations, journal entries, account reviews, and other routine accounting duties.

Requirements:

• ACCA Qualified, Affiliate, or Part-Qualified (with at least 9 exams passed) or Bachelors/Masters in Accounting
• 4 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with international or client-based firms (UK, US or Canada)
• Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or CFO in a client-facing or outsourced accounting environment
• Proven ability to independently manage the month-end close and reporting cycles
• Solid understanding of cash flow forecasting and performance metrics
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in QuickBooks online and Xero.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working under minimal supervision
• Must have business-level English communication skills (minimum 9/10 proficiency) — please do not apply if your English communication is not excellent

Additional Information:

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete 3 case study questions as part of the evaluation process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
