Financial Operations Manager

Job Posting: Bookkeeper / Office Manager

Location: Remote-friendly (Nashville-based preferred)
Hours: Part-Time to Start (Approx. 15–25 hrs/week)

We are a dynamic, values-driven logistics and materials company serving major infrastructure projects like the BNA Nashville Airport expansion. Our mission is to build a regenerative ecosystem of ease, flow, and profitability—starting with our internal team.

We’re now seeking a happy, skilled, and reliable Bookkeeper/Office Manager to anchor our financial operations and bring clarity to our multi-entity accounting.

Role Overview

This is more than just a bookkeeping job. You’ll be the financial backbone helping us transition from rapid growth to structured scalability. You’ll work closely with company leadership—especially our CEO and project managers—to clean up, streamline, and maintain essential financial systems.

You'll manage everything from weekly payroll to bookkeeping cleanup across multiple entities. If you're energized by order, precision, and purpose-driven teams—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry: Input transactions with speed and accuracy across platforms.
  • Payroll: Process and track payments for truckers and team members.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoicing, collections, and outgoing payments.
  • Reconcile & Organize: prior-year financials.
  • Local & State Tax Filings: Prepare and file reports in coordination with our CPA.
  • Admin Support: Assist with digital organization, documentation, or process updates as needed.

What We’re Looking For Experience

  • Experience, preferably with small businesses or subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar systems.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication—especially written clarity and cheerful follow-ups

Bonus

  • Experience in trucking, construction, or logistics.
  • Familiarity with Tennessee filing requirements.
