Finishing carpenter

Aram Building Contracting is looking for Carpenter to join the team.

Key responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans.

Construct and install wooden structures, including roofs, floors, walls, and framing.

Build, repair, and install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and stairs.

Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up workstations.

Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fasten materials like wood, plastic, and drywall.

Measure and mark materials accurately for cutting lines.

Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.

Troubleshoot and solve construction issues.

Ensure all work follows safety regulations, building codes, and zoning laws.

Communicate with clients, supervisors, and team members.

Skills and qualifications

Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.

Strong mathematical and measurement skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

Physical stamina, strength, and ability to work from heights.

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of safety procedures and building codes.
