FINISHING ENGINEER

• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor all finishing works at site, including plastering, painting, tiling, false ceiling, joinery, flooring, cladding, and MEP final coordination.
• Ensure finishing works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Inspect and verify workmanship and materials before client/consultant inspections.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Foremen, Subcontractors, and QA/QC Engineers to achieve project targets and deadlines.
• Prepare and update daily progress reports and monitor work schedules.
• Ensure that work sequencing and interfaces between civil, architectural, and MEP works are managed smoothly.
• Identify site issues, propose solutions, and follow up until resolved.
• Monitor and control material usage to prevent wastage and ensure timely procurement.
• Conduct and participate in site inspections and snag list closing with consultants and clients.
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations at all times.
• Assist in handover documentation and final quality checks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finishing works for buildings, villas, or commercial projects High Rise (UAE experience highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, materials, and installation techniques.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
