Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Fire Fighting Engineer with strong experience in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to NFPA standards and GCC project experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and supervise installation of fire fighting systems including:
• Fire alarm systems, Sprinkler systems, Fire hydrant & hose reel systems
• FM-200 / Clean Agent / CO₂ systems
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, QCDD, Civil Defence, and local authority regulations
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of fire protection systems
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, and site teams
• Prepare technical submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and as-built documents
• Attend inspections and obtain approvals from authorities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Prepare reports, BOQs, and material take-offs
• Ensure site safety and quality standards are maintained

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Fire Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant fire fighting system experience (GCC experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards
• Experience with QCDD / Civil Defence approvals (preferred)
• Proficient in AutoCAD & MS Office
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Valid QID & NOC (preferred)
• NFPA Certification
• FM Global / UL system experience
