Fire Fighting Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Fire Fighting Engineer with valid QCDD (Qatar Civil Defence Department) approval and/or UPDA (MMUP) certification to manage, design, and supervise fire protection systems in compliance with Qatar standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and implement fire protection and firefighting systems as per QCDD regulations.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Ensure all firefighting systems (sprinkler, hydrant, fire alarm, FM200, etc.) are installed and tested as per approved standards.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Liaise with QCDD for inspections, testing, and project approvals.
• Prepare documentation for testing & commissioning and handover.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firefighting systems.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• Valid QCDD certification (mandatory/preferred depending on project).
• UPDA/MMUP certification (Grade A/B/C preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in firefighting systems.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial projects, or Oil & Gas sector is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local Qatar regulations.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
