Fire & Life Safety Engineer (Mechanical / Architectural Background)

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire & Life Safety Engineer to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical or Architectural engineering background with strong knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems in compliance with Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) regulations.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting fire and life safety design, coordination, and approval processes for ongoing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review fire fighting and life safety drawings in compliance with QCDD regulations and NFPA standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams for fire safety system design and implementation.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of Civil Defence approval documents.
• Review architectural layouts to ensure proper life safety compliance, including escape routes and fire compartmentation.
• Supervise installation and testing of fire protection systems where required.
• Support QCDD inspections and approvals for project completion.
• Ensure all fire and life safety systems meet local authority requirements in Qatar.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in fire protection or life safety engineering.
• Knowledge of QCDD regulations and NFPA standards is required.
• Experience in construction or consultancy projects in Qatar is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR14,000.00 per month
