1. Design & Engineering

  • Develop detailed MEP designs, layouts, calculations, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and system modeling (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing).
  • Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material proposals.

2. Project Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate with architects, civil/structural teams, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems.
  • Attend coordination meetings, resolve design conflicts, and manage on-site technical issues.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and quality of work.

3. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Implement quality control procedures for MEP works.
  • Ensure safety regulations and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, etc.) are followed.
  • Conduct site inspections, system performance checks, and audits.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare technical reports, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of design changes, approvals, and project correspondence.

Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
  • Professional certifications (LEED, PMP, PE, etc.) are a plus.
  • 2–5 years of GCC experience preferably in Qatar in Electrical field.
