Fire Protection Engineer

SME Electromechanical is urgently hiring an experienced Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of Firefighting systems in Dubai, UAE.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of specialized experience in Fire Protection/Firefighting systems for building projects.
• Codes: Expert knowledge of NFPA standards and local Civil Defense regulations (e.g., DCD).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, equipment selection, and shop drawing review.
• Availability: Must be able to join immediately.
• Visa Status: Preference for candidates with a personal/transferable visa (e.g., spouse/freelance visa).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering.

Core Responsibilities:

Manage all technical and site aspects of Firefighting systems, ensuring full compliance with standards, supervising installation quality, and facilitating final authority inspections and approvals.
