ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Firefighter will work at the speedway in various positions and locations. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond to fire, emergency medical, and other emergency services calls as needed.

Controls and extinguishes fires by selection of appropriate diameter hoses and nozzles

Remove people from dangerous or hazardous situations through an approved means
-
Ensures a safe and fun environment for all guests, staff, sponsors and partners

Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations
-
Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests
-
Ensures the safety of guests and employees
-
Utilizes various forms of firefighting equipment and fire suppression or rescue operations

Patrols assigned areas as directed

Responds to emergencies as trained
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must be 18 years of age
-
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed
-
Must present an overall clean, neat appearance, and report to work in appropriate attire
-
Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
-
Must be able to speak, read and write English
-
Must be able to pass a background verification
-
Valid CPR/AAED certification
-
Must have completed Hazmat Response Skill or equivalent
-
Must have completed Flammable Liquid Course
