Industry: MEP, Firefighting & Central Gas

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer with expertise in cost estimation, material computation, and AutoCAD design for Central Gas projects. The ideal candidate will be capable of preparing accurate BOQs, reviewing engineering drawings, and providing technical support to ensure competitive and compliant project bids.

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation & BOQ Preparation

o Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from project drawings and specifications.

o Analyse tender documents and prepare competitive pricing proposals.

2. Material & Drawing Analysis

o Compute material requirements from engineering drawings.

o Review and interpret specifications for mechanical and electrical materials and consumables.

3. Engineering Review

o Verify accuracy and completeness of drawings and technical documents.

o Provide technical input for estimation and tendering purposes.

4. AutoCAD Expertise

o Prepare and interpret specialized AutoCAD drawings related to mechanical systems.

5. Project Support Documentation

o Prepare material submittals, compliance statements, and other technical documentation required for tenders and projects.

6. Pipeline – Size, Flow and Load

o Possess working knowledge of Gas pipeline systems.

o Knowledge of Pipe size, pipe flow and load calculations.

7. Coordination

o Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, sales, and engineering) to ensure accurate estimation.

o Support project handover with complete technical and cost documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (attested certificate required).

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in estimation within the MEP, Firefighting & Central Gas Industry.

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and material estimation.

• Knowledge of pipe-flow and sizing calculations.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
