Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic

Duties

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls involving fires, medical incidents, accidents, and hazardous situations.
  • Provide advanced emergency medical care, including first aid, CPR, and basic life support procedures to stabilize patients.
  • Operate fire suppression equipment and perform rescue operations using specialized tools and techniques.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ vital signs and monitor their condition during transport and treatment.
  • Drive emergency vehicles safely under various conditions while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on firefighting gear, medical supplies, and rescue equipment to ensure readiness at all times.
  • Collaborate with other first responders and communicate effectively with dispatch centers to coordinate efficient incident management.

Qualifications

  • Proven EMT experience with certification in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or higher-level credentials such as Paramedic.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating emergency vehicles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of first aid procedures, basic life support (BLS), CPR, and vital signs assessment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate firefighting apparatus and rescue tools confidently.
  • Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and performing physically demanding tasks in challenging environments.
  • Strong communication skills for clear reporting, teamwork, and interacting compassionately with patients and the public.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions during emergencies.

Pay: $15.75 - $20.00 per hour
