Job Description

Seeking a litigation attorney to handle first-party property and related insurance matters from intake through resolution. You’ll research and develop case strategy, draft and argue motions, manage discovery and depositions, appear in court, and maintain clear, consistent client communication in a fast-moving, trial-ready practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research; evaluate files and prepare cases for trial
  • Draft/argue pleadings and motions (MTD, MSJ, etc.)
  • Manage discovery and take/defend depositions
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in ADR
  • Handle court appearances and status conferences
  • Provide proactive client updates and expectations management

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar (good standing)
  • 1+ year in insurance litigation; first-party property experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Strong writing, advocacy, and case-management skills; comfortable with a high-volume docket

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
