About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our vehicle fleet. This role ensures that our transportation resources are managed efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. The Fleet Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact for drivers, maintenance teams, and management, ensuring smooth operations across all fleet activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet scheduling and dispatch: Assign vehicles and drivers to meet operational needs.
- Maintenance coordination: Track service schedules, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Compliance management: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, licensing, and company policies.
- Fuel and cost tracking: Monitor expenses and optimize fleet efficiency.
- Driver support: Provide guidance, resolve issues, and maintain communication with drivers.
- Reporting and analysis: Prepare fleet performance reports and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in fleet management, logistics, or transportation coordination.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with fleet management software and MS Office tools.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Soft skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.
