The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the organization’s vehicle fleet operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role manages vehicle maintenance, driver coordination, regulatory compliance, fuel usage, and reporting while supporting operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Operations Management

  • Coordinate daily fleet activities, including vehicle scheduling and dispatching
  • Monitor vehicle availability and utilization
  • Ensure vehicles are properly allocated to meet operational requirements

Maintenance & Repairs

  • Schedule preventive maintenance and inspections
  • Coordinate repairs and service appointments
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Monitor vehicle downtime and implement improvement measures

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure fleet compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Monitor driver licenses, certifications, and insurance requirements
  • Support driver safety programs and accident investigations
  • Maintain registration, permits, and inspection documentation

Cost & Fuel Management

  • Track fuel consumption and expenses
  • Monitor fleet-related costs (maintenance, insurance, leasing, etc.)
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare budget reports and expense summaries

Vendor & Supplier Coordination

  • Liaise with service providers, leasing companies, and fuel vendors
  • Negotiate service agreements when applicable
  • Evaluate vendor performance

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate fleet management records
  • Generate reports on vehicle usage, maintenance, and costs
  • Track KPIs such as fuel efficiency, downtime, and accident rates

Qualifications

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation, or related field
  • Experience with fleet management software preferred

Skills

  • Must be fluent in Hindi/Urdu.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance principles
  • Understanding of transportation regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must have driving license, better 2 wheeler also

Work Environment

  • Office-based with regular visits to vehicle yard or service locations
  • May require occasional after-hours availability for emergencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,400.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
