Fleet Supervisor

The Fleet Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily operations of the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant transportation of patients, medical staff, and healthcare supplies. The role involves supervising drivers, scheduling routes, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage drivers, ambulance staff, and support team to ensure smooth daily fleet operations.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor vehicle routes for patient transport, medical supply delivery, and staff mobility.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with healthcare regulations, licensing, and safety standards (e.g., DOH, MOH, DHA requirements).
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are well-equipped with medical and safety supplies.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and operational costs; implement measures for efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records, including vehicle registration, insurance, and service history.
  • Train and guide drivers on safety, patient handling, and customer service protocols.
  • Coordinate with procurement for spare parts, repairs, and replacement vehicles.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, and incidents involving fleet vehicles.
  • Prepare and present reports on fleet utilization, expenses, and performance to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in healthcare or emergency transport services.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and healthcare-specific transport requirements.
  • Familiarity with GPS, fleet management software, and route optimization tools.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
  • Valid UAE Driving License (Light/Heavy as applicable).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
