What will you be doing:

The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the operational execution of CareLinc’s vehicle fleet while partnering with leadership to manage cost, reduce waste, and improve efficiency within a department that functions as a company expense. This role requires continuous evaluation of existing practices, comfort challenging the status quo, and accountability for outcomes supported by data, policy adherence, and telematics insight. Training will be provided on company telematics and driver safety platforms. Leads by example in upholding the CareLinc Mission: fostering independence and dignity through Community, Accountability, Relationships, and Empathy.

  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled vehicle maintenance and repairs across the fleet
  • Serve as the primary liaison between drivers, leadership, and external service vendors
  • Schedule service appointments and track repair progress to minimize downtime
  • Review repair estimates and invoices for accuracy, scope, and cost alignment
  • Maintain accurate fleet records, including maintenance history and documentation
  • Support vehicle onboarding, transfers, and decommissioning
  • Coordinate rental vehicles as needed
  • Utilize company telematics and driver safety systems to monitor vehicle usage and safety trends
  • Support driver coaching and corrective actions using telematics data
  • Act as the resident subject matter expert for vehicle policy and driver safety standards
  • Clearly communicate policy expectations to drivers and stakeholders
  • Support accident and incident documentation and follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and internal policies
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to reduce expense and operational waste
  • Monitor maintenance, utilization, and safety trends to inform decision-making
  • Maintain and report on fleet performance metrics (cost, downtime, compliance, safety)
  • Identify inefficiencies or outdated practices and recommend improvements
  • Support process standardization and documentation
  • Demonstrate ownership of outcomes, not just assigned tasks
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


What is required:

  • Able to pass background checks as it pertains to the position
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
  • Background in service writing or other relevant positions preferred
  • Able to lift and maneuver equipment that may weigh up to 25 lbs occasionally
