Job Summary:

The Logistics Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring seamless operations across The Laundry Hub’s warehouse and delivery processes. This position requires someone who can efficiently manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, supervise staff, and optimize logistics processes to guarantee high-quality service and timely deliveries to customers.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to lead a team while improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management: Oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring optimal utilization of vehicles.

  • Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and schedule vehicle usage, maintenance, and repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure all vehicles comply with regulatory requirements, including safety checks, inspections, and emissions standards.

Logistics & Delivery:

  • Plan and optimize daily delivery routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with drivers, pick-up staff, and delivery personnel to ensure timely service.
  • Track vehicles, shipments, and ensure compliance with delivery schedules.
  • Resolve delivery issues, delays, or customer complaints in a timely manner.

Team Management:

  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and helpers.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance to improve productivity.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates and expectations.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Track vehicle repairs and routine maintenance; schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate fleet records, including fuel usage, mileage, maintenance logs, and vehicle costs. Generate regular reports for management.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors for vehicle servicing, repairs, and part procurement.
  • Budget Management: Monitor fleet expenses, optimize costs, and stay within the allocated budget.
  • Safety Management: Promote safety by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as government regulations.
  • Accident Management: Coordinate accident investigations, process insurance claims, and handle any damage assessments.

Additional Points:

  • Report and manage accidents, including communication with Dubai Police.
  • Liaise with the Operations and Admin departments for the renewal of vehicle registrations (Mulkya) and insurance.
  • Ensure vehicles are sent for passing and comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vehicle-related facilities such as Salik (toll) tags and fuel cards.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, servicing, and incidents.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify gaps in logistics operations and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to enhance service quality.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
