Responsibilities

• Supervise children in various camp activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans, games, and creative projects that promote childhood development and learning
• Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful environment
• Assist with daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, rest periods, and transitions between activities
• Support children with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring inclusive participation
• Maintain open communication with camp staff and parents regarding children's progress and any concerns
• Lead or assist with recreational activities including sports coaching, arts and theater projects, and team-building exercises

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, tutoring, or camp environments is preferred
• Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques
• Certification in first aid and CPR is needed to ensure child safety
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
• Enthusiasm for working with children and creating a positive, energetic atmosphere
