Job Description

Responsibilities:

Ensure the smooth and continuous operation of the assigned floor area.
Supervise the performance, conduct, and task execution of the floor operations team.
Plan and manage manpower movement across the floor based on operational needs and priorities.
Monitor and address improper baggage induction at check-in counters to prevent system disruptions.
Oversee the proper handling and circulation of grey tubs, ensuring availability and system efficiency.
Monitor ongoing maintenance activities, coordinating with operations and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
Ensure daily task allocation and provide clear instructions and supervision to team members.
Promote and enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and Vanderlande’s core values, acting as a role model.
Identify and address performance or behavioral issues among staff promptly and professionally.
Provide training and support to new or less experienced team members to ensure readiness and competence.
Report all operational cases and incidents, including improper induction cases, promptly and accurately to the Shift Leader or Vanderlande Control Room for timely resolution.
Report any operational, maintenance, or cleanliness issues to the relevant authorities promptly.
Perform any additional tasks or duties as assigned by the line manager to support smooth operations and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in field operations, preferably within the airport or aviation industry.
Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to handle costumer requests and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team coordination, manpower planning & allocation, and performance oversight.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively with colleagues, management, and external partners.
Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
Good understanding of airport procedures, safety standards, and general aviation protocols is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and respond quickly in time-sensitive or challenging operational environments.
Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism, discipline, and reliability in daily responsibilities.
Ability to work in shift pattern
