Floral Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting beautiful floral arrangements that meet customer needs and preferences. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through your design skills. A strong emphasis on customer service and the ability to communicate effectively are essential for success in this position.

Duties

• Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday purchases.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on floral selections.
• Maintain knowledge of current floral trends and seasonal availability of flowers.
• Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to ensure accurate pricing and sales transactions using POS systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as required, ensuring all plants and flowers are well cared for.
• Organize the workspace efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

• Previous experience in floral design needed or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided
• Strong sales skills with the ability to sell products effectively while communicating clearly with customers.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
• A background in customer service is essential for fostering positive relationships with clients.
• Organizational skills are necessary for managing inventory and maintaining an orderly workspace.
• Knowledge of gardening or landscape maintenance can be beneficial in understanding plant care requirements.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
