Job Title: Food Runner / Assistant Waiter

Place of Work: Laysen Valley, Umm Al Hamam, Riyadh

Monthly Salary: SAR 1,800 to SAR 2,000 with FREE Duty Meal, Shared Accommodation and Transportation to and from work

Role Brief: The Food Runner & Assistant Waiter plays an essential role in delivering the exceptional, unhurried dining experience our guests expect. Working in close coordination with the service team, this position ensures the seamless flow of food and beverages from the kitchen to the table with precision and elegance. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to the correct tables accurately and efficiently, maintaining the presentation standards set by the establishment.
• Assist waiters in providing attentive, proactive tableside service, including refilling water, clearing used dishes, and resetting covers between courses.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and the front-of-house team to ensure timely, coordinated delivery of all orders, particularly during peak service periods.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu — including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods — to confidently answer guest enquiries and relay accurate information.
• Uphold a pristine dining environment by monitoring table cleanliness, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring side stations are consistently stocked and organized.
• Greet and assist guests in a warm, professional manner, directing them as needed and ensuring every touchpoint of their visit reflects the luxury positioning of the café.
• Adhere strictly to the café's grooming, uniform, and conduct standards at all times, representing the brand with poise and professionalism.

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a food & beverage service role, preferably within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or specialty café environment.
• Strong command of English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage and highly preferred given the local guest demographic.
• A valid residency and work authorization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with full availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
