Food Safety Officer

  • Conduct inspection and monitoring of low-risk food establishments, including those located in free zones, to ensure compliance with approved food safety laws and regulations.
  • Follow up on food establishments’ compliance with corrective actions to ensure continuous adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare periodic inspection reports reflecting the level of compliance and analyze field data to support decision-making.
  • Supervise the implementation of food safety management systems and bottled drinking water safety programs in low-risk food establishments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of food safety management programs implemented by relevant food establishments and ensure their suitability to the nature of activities.
  • Provide periodic reports on compliance levels and recommendations to improve performance and enhance the effectiveness of implemented programs.
  • Conduct inspection and control of food products and bottled drinking water in food establishments to ensure their safety and quality.
  • Verify product compliance with approved specifications through periodic inspections and field visits.
  • Report non-compliance cases and take the necessary corrective actions in coordination with the relevant authorities.
  • Inspect food transport vehicles and bottled drinking water transport vehicles to ensure compliance with approved food transportation regulations.
  • Verify compliance with health requirements related to transport vehicles used by food establishments.
  • Prepare periodic evaluation reports including recommendations to improve transport quality and reduce risks.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Major: Chemistry
  • Experience: No experience required
