Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining the restaurant's fine dining atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are noted correctly.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining attention to detail in presentation.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, enhancing the dining experience through knowledgeable suggestions.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic culinary knowledge is an asset, along with familiarity with food safety practices.
• Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards helping others and providing exceptional service.
