Waitress

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Waitress/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for creating a positive dining experience for our guests. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, answer questions about the menu, and process payments all while ensuring our customers feel welcomed and well cared for.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and seat them (if host duties are required).
• Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including daily specials.
• Answer questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
• Check in with tables regularly to ensure satisfaction and anticipate needs (e.g., refilling drinks, clearing plates).
• Handle customer complaints or special requests with professionalism and a positive attitude, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Order Taking & Service:

• Accurately take food and beverage orders using a POS (Point of Sale) system or order pad.
• Relay orders clearly and promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring the correct order goes to the correct guest.
• Ensure all food is presented according to the restaurant’s quality standards before serving.

Table Maintenance & Cleanliness:

• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned tables and sections.
• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
• Assist in side work duties such as rolling silverware, folding napkins, and stocking condiments.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous serving experience in a restaurant setting is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR2,000.00 per month
