Foreman

Overview

The Foreman supervises daily site activities for swimming pool construction and landscaping, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise skilled and unskilled workers, ensuring daily targets are met.
• Coordinate construction of swimming pools (excavation, steel fixing, concrete, waterproofing, tiling, etc.) and landscaping work (planting, irrigation, paving, decking, etc.).
• Assign tasks based on project needs and monitor tools, equipment, and materials for efficient operations.
• Coordinate with site engineer and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure work complies with drawings and quality standards; report safety hazards or incidents immediately.
• Maintain daily progress reports and submit updates to the site engineer; communicate effectively with laborers to resolve minor on-site issues and provide feedback on material requirements and any delays or concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or trade certification in Civil, Landscaping, or related fields (preferred).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role on pool and landscaping projects.
• Strong knowledge of pool construction stages and landscape installation.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage laborers and subcontractors.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
