Job Title: Foreman - Maintenance

Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Foreman to lead our team in the maintenance and upkeep of facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role requires a hands-on approach and strong leadership to manage a team of technicians and laborers, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the maintenance team, including scheduling work, assigning tasks, and providing guidance.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead by example and provide hands-on assistance with maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general civil works.
• Ensure strict compliance with all company safety regulations and local health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and ensure materials are available for scheduled jobs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate work reports, including daily progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Train and mentor junior staff, helping them develop their skills and adhere to best practices.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors to ensure seamless operations and timely project completion.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A technical diploma or certification in a related trade (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or civil) is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman position.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compensation: AED 2,150 per month + Accommodation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
