Job Overview

We are seeking a Freelance Structural Engineer with proven experience delivering UK-based residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in structural analysis, design calculations, and compliance with UK design standards and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various construction projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Develop structural drawings and design details.
• Review architectural drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes, and British Standards.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical recommendations.
• Support project delivery through construction and approval stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience on UK construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and UK Building Regulations.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot Structural Analysis, or similar.
• Experience in reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry design.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
