We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and manage construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulations and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, drainage systems, and infrastructure works.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project requirements.
- Review project plans and ensure compliance with local, national, and international engineering standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and procurement activities.
- Supervise construction activities and monitor project progress to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, surveyors, consultants, and government authorities throughout project execution.
- Perform structural analysis and evaluate engineering designs for stability, durability, and functionality.
- Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety requirements, and sustainability practices.
- Prepare and review contract documents, tender specifications, and bid evaluations.
- Conduct quality inspections and testing of construction materials and workmanship.
- Resolve technical issues, design challenges, and construction-related problems.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, reports, and engineering calculations.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and project staff.
- Stay updated with emerging engineering technologies, construction methods, and industry best practices to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineering License/Registration (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, ETABS, MS Project, and other engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural design, and project management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
