Freelance Videographer

Rocky Mountain Catering + Events is seeking a dynamic and creative Videographer Intern to join our team. Job Description:

The videographer intern will collaborate with the marketing team to help build out our digital database for marketing materials, presentations, and social media. You will report directly to the Manager of Staffing Solutions. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of social media marketing and digital content creation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in managing and creating content for various social media platforms.
• Conduct social listening and research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Visit venues in Colorado and take pictures/videos of our team, food we cater, and setup of the event.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging social media campaigns.
• Edit pictures and videos before sending them off to our marketing team.
• Follow our weekly calendar to make sure you’re shooting the right material.
• Support in photography and videography for social media content.
• Contribute to the development of digital marketing strategies.
• Foster a positive work environment that boosts morale and productivity.
• Express collaborative ideas to assist in solving areas of opportunities.
• Engage and participate in weekly meeting with the Manager of Staffing Solutions.
• Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and safety adherence to standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3 to 6 months of related experience in social media marketing a must.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong interest in social media marketing and digital content creation.
• Knowledge of various social media platforms and their best practices.
• Basic understanding of public relations and digital marketing concepts.
• Proficiency in photography and content creation tools.
• Higher quality camera a must. Not your phone.
• 3 to 6 months experience creating content through photography and videography.
• Outstanding work ethic & self-motivated.
• Good morale and integrity.
• Attention to detail while being passionate about seeing positive results.
• Ability to use Google docs, Microsoft office, word and excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment. The physical activity that you will be need to perform are:

• Flexible hours.
• Stand, walk, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Be adaptive in working in extreme temperatures changes outside periodical throughout the day.
