Quantity Surveyor – Events & ExhibitionsPre-Contract & Procurement Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates by reviewing conceptual designs, technical drawings, and project specifications for bespoke exhibition stands, modular structures, audiovisual installations, and related fit-out works.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQ) outlining material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
- Manage the tendering process by sourcing qualified contractors, suppliers, fabricators, logistics providers, and specialist vendors.
- Evaluate quotations, conduct commercial analysis, and negotiate competitive pricing and contract terms.
- Perform value engineering by identifying cost-effective alternatives without compromising design quality, functionality, safety, or project objectives.
Post-Contract & Site Responsibilities
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations by all parties, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and venue operators.
- Monitor project costs and prepare weekly and monthly cost reports, tracking committed costs against approved budgets and forecasted expenditure.
- Evaluate and price variations, change orders, and client-requested modifications, assessing their commercial and schedule impact.
- Conduct site measurements and interim valuations to verify completed work and process timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor procurement, fabrication, and installation progress to ensure alignment with project budgets and contractual requirements.
Project Close-Out & Commercial Management
- Prepare and finalize project accounts by reconciling all costs, variations, claims, and final measurements.
- Assist in resolving commercial and contractual disputes arising during fabrication, installation, or project execution.
- Prepare post-project commercial reports, comparing actual project costs against the original budget to identify cost variances, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure all project documentation is completed and archived in accordance with company procedures.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
