Freight and Shipping Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Freight and Shipping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing shipments, freight forwarding, and coordinating with international suppliers. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth logistics operations, optimizing costs, and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate international and domestic shipments efficiently.
• Communicate and negotiate with international suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
• Compare pricing from multiple logistics providers to optimize costs.
• Ensure timely documentation and compliance with customs and import/export regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using SAP MM and other logistics software.
• Resolve operational issues, delays, or shipment discrepancies proactively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support supply chain and operational goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics.
• Strong experience in dealing with international suppliers and pricing negotiations.
• Good working knowledge of SAP MM and logistics/ERP software.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
