Position Title: Freight Broker
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: Kandaghat

Position Summary

The Freight Broker is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods for shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, managing transportation logistics, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end freight process. This role requires strong communication, relationship building, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation experience (preferred).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple loads and relationships simultaneously.
• Experience with TMS software and load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop).
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

• Monthly load volume
• Gross profit per load / margin
• Carrier and customer satisfaction
• On-time pickup and delivery rates
• New customer acquisition

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• Requires consistent communication via phone, email, and software tools.

Compensation

• Base salary.
• Commission structure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
