Freight Broker Agent

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and experienced Freight Broker Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage and grow shipper relationships, negotiate carrier rates, and oversee the end-to-end movement of freight across North America. This is an in-office position ideal for motivated professionals who take ownership of their business and are ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with shippers and customers to generate consistent freight volume
  • Source, negotiate, and book carriers for FTL, LTL, and other freight modes
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
  • Resolve issues proactively and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records in TMS (Transportation Management System)
  • Grow your book of business through prospecting, cold calling, and networking

Requirements

  • Existing book of business is required — you must bring established shipper relationships
  • Proven track record in freight brokerage or logistics sales
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficiency with TMS platforms and/or CRM tools
  • Must be able to work on-site at our office
