Job Purpose : Freight Forwarding Sales Executives are responsible for driving revenue and growth in the freight forwarding industry. They act as the sales arm for companies that specialize in logistics and the movement of goods internationally. Their main purpose is to generate revenue for their company by selling freight forwarding services to businesses that need to import or export goods.


Main Responsibilities :-


Business Development:

  • Prospecting for new clients through various channels like cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events.
  • Qualifying leads to identify businesses with freight forwarding needs.
  • Developing and presenting proposals that outline your company's services and pricing to potential clients, negotiating rates and closing deals with new clients.

Account Management:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
  • Understanding clients' specific shipping needs and recommending tailored logistics solutions.
  • Monitoring and managing existing client accounts to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.

Sales & Market Knowledge:

  • Keeping up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity in the freight forwarding market.
  • Researching and understanding the specific needs of different services provided by the company, and contributing to the development and execution of the company's overall sales strategy.


Qualifications & Experience :-


• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics , Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5-6 Years of experience in Freight Forwarding sales

• Strong background in logistics and freight forwarding, including knowledge of carrier routes and services.
