We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our supply chain team. Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, order picking, and packing to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Oversee inventory management processes to maintain accurate stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems like AS400 or SAP.
• Coordinate transportation management efforts, including freight scheduling, dispatching, fleet management, and working with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
• Support procurement and sourcing activities by assisting with purchasing decisions, pricing analysis, and demand planning to optimize inventory control.
• Implement process improvements by analyzing supply chain data and recommending enhancements in materials handling, category management, and warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards related to forklift operation, materials handling equipment (CMMS), and packaging procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on order fulfillment strategies, shipping & receiving schedules, and transportation planning to maximize efficiency.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and logistics operations.
• Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse distribution, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), freight coordination, and dispatching processes.
• Ability to analyze data using supply chain analytics tools for demand forecasting and process optimization.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packing, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in procurement practices including sourcing, pricing strategies, and category management.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts and understanding materials handling safety protocols.
• Competence with ERP systems such as AS400 or SAP for order processing and operations management.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams on shipping & receiving activities.
• Knowledge of e-commerce logistics workflows and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) procedures is a plus.
