Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Job Type: Part-Time with Option for Full-Time

Schedule: Morning Shift (7am-3pm) and Second Shift ( 3pm-11pm)

Location: The Gin Hotel, Lexington, VA

Job Description: We are seeking friendly and detail-oriented Front Desk Agents to join our team!

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for greeting guests, checking them in and out, and ensuring their stay is as comfortable as possible. You will also handle phone calls, reservations, and assist with any guest needs.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and handle future reservations
• Assist guests with any requests or issues they may have
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
• Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and security
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must live in or near the Lexington area
