Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
• Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and messages.
• Conduct nightly audits to ensure all financial transactions are accurate.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences.
• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Able to perform Night Audit functions and identify adjustments and refund errors accurately before sending out to corporate.
• Must be able to complete all necessary reports needed to close the day and communicate with security when issues arise.
• Stay calm under pressure.

Skills

• Desire to learn and grow in hospitality and hotel operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective guest interaction.
• Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software. OPERA, QUORE, CANARY is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus.
• Exceptional phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns promptly.
