Job Summary:
Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O’Hare is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently using the hotel’s property management system
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide hotel information
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
  • Assist with guest services such as directions, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management systems
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
