Front Desk Agent

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline operations at our resort or hotel property.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression
• Check guests in and out efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with courtesy and professionalism
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of guest information
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs promptly
• Process payments, issue receipts, and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail
• Uphold phone etiquette standards when managing multi-line phone systems
• Assist with night audit procedures as needed to ensure smooth overnight operations

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
• Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is advantageous
• Experience in handling night audit functions is desirable
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and professional demeanor in person and over the phone
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
