Front Desk Agent

Job Summary

Duties

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and professionally using proper phone etiquette
  • Handle appointment scheduling, calendar management, and coordinate meetings using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
  • Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records with attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Support office management tasks such as organizing supplies, managing correspondence, and assisting with clerical duties including typing and document preparation
  • Utilize computer literacy to operate office equipment, update databases like QuickBooks for bookkeeping purposes, and support administrative workflows
  • Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive attitude

Qualifications

  • Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and basic data entry techniques
  • Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred; familiarity with office management practices is a plus
  • Strong customer service orientation with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse client needs
  • Experience with front desk operations in medical or dental settings is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining accuracy in proofreading and data entry tasks
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
