Front Desk Agent

Job Title: Front Desk Agent
Reports To: Front Desk Manager / Assistant Manager
Employment Type: Part-Time

Position Summary

The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for members, guests, players, and visitors at the tennis facility. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing court reservations, processing memberships and payments, answering inquiries, and ensuring the front desk operates efficiently. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive experience for all facility users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet members, guests, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer phone calls and in-person inquiries regarding programs, lessons, memberships, tournaments, and facility services.
  • Schedule and manage court reservations, lessons, clinics, and events using facility management software.
  • Process memberships, registrations, payments, and retail purchases accurately.
  • Maintain accurate member records and update customer information as needed.
  • Assist with player check-ins for lessons, leagues, tournaments, and special events.
  • Promote facility programs, memberships, and upcoming events.
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
  • Assist with building cleaning as assigned.
  • Support facility operations by assisting with assigned administrative tasks.
  • Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age and older.
  • Previous customer service, reception, hospitality, or front desk experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, point-of-sale systems, and scheduling software.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Interest in or knowledge of tennis and racquet sports is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
