Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Port Hotel & Marina in Crystal River. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for managing guest relations and ensuring that each visitor has a memorable experience.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
• Provide information about the resort/hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
• Perform night audit duties as required, balancing daily transactions and preparing reports.
• Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist guests promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
• Uphold the highest standards of guest services in line with the resort/hotel’s policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer software applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
• A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
