Front desk and magical host

Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and charismatic individuals to be part of our magical team at World of Wizardry. This job role combines the essential duties of front desk management ( ticket and gift shop sales) along with the delightful responsibilities of hosting visitors and inviting them into our attraction.

The ideal candidate should have a love of interacting with people, exceptional customer service, and adding a touch of whimsey to their wardrobe! We encourage a bit of magical cosplay to your general look.

Duties

  • Greet visitors and guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Inform visitors of the attraction
  • Register sales (we use Square)
  • Hosting of the attraction ( Think Disney host introduction)
  • Greeting guests as they come in, managing lines if needed
  • Maintaining of our small gift shop, including restocking and organization of items
  • Opening and closing duties (shut down, vacuum, etc)

Skills

  • Good with people
  • Responsible
  • Timely
  • Having a friendly demeanor and a positive attitude with guest interactions
  • Proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and QuickBooks for bookkeeping purposes
  • Willingness to wear fun outfits (think Elven, fairy, magical)

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
