Front Desk Associate

Job Summary

The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing a welcoming, efficient, and professional experience for all guests and members. This role serves as the first point of contact, handling check-ins, payments, and general inquiries while maintaining a clean, organized, and calm experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check guests into the facility
  • Process payments, memberships, and retail sales
  • Answer phones, respond to questions, and provide accurate information about services, rules, and policies
  • Enforce facility rules and age requirements respectfully and consistently
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints and escalate to management when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
  • Monitor facility and guests and communicate with other departments as needed
  • Assist with opening and/or closing duties
  • Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Cash handling or POS experience a plus
  • Comfortable working with the public
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or high-stress situations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
