Job Summary
The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing a welcoming, efficient, and professional experience for all guests and members. This role serves as the first point of contact, handling check-ins, payments, and general inquiries while maintaining a clean, organized, and calm experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and members in a friendly and professional manner
- Check guests into the facility
- Process payments, memberships, and retail sales
- Answer phones, respond to questions, and provide accurate information about services, rules, and policies
- Enforce facility rules and age requirements respectfully and consistently
- Handle guest concerns or complaints and escalate to management when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
- Monitor facility and guests and communicate with other departments as needed
- Assist with opening and/or closing duties
- Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Cash handling or POS experience a plus
- Comfortable working with the public
- Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or high-stress situations
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
