Front Desk Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, including handling reservations and payments.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette to assist guests with their needs.
• Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
• Assist in resolving guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to hotel standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest services and experiences.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in phone systems and handling multi-line calls effectively.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for assisting a diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of night audit procedures is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in the hospitality industry.
• 3pm - 11pm will be primary shift hours.
