Front Desk Clerk

TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time night shift opening for a Front Desk position at our Baymont Inn & Suites hotel in Des Moines, IA.

Night Shift: Wednesday-Sunday 4pm-12am

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of a Front Desk Clerk is to perform retail inventory control, stocking the gift shop/store, sales procurement, drive the shuttle, general cleaning.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• retail inventory control
• stocking the gift shop/store
• sales procurement
• drive the shuttle
• general cleaning
• Be able to take guest reservations by phone or in person
• Oversee the gift shop
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Good working knowledge of computers.
• Must have strong customer service skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical requirements and work environment described are representative of those present while performing the essential functions of this job.

• Must be able to sit, stand and use telephone and computer, for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
