Front Desk Officer (Male Only)

We are seeking a Front Desk Officer who will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in and check-out experience. This role involves managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience and good know-how of PMS (Property Management Systems) and a strong background in sales and conversion, preferably with previous experience as a front desk officer in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.

- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively. - Provide information regarding the guest house facilities, local attractions, and transportation options.

- Manage reservations through phone, email, and online booking systems. - Update and maintain the reservation system with accurate guest information.

- Process cancellations and modifications to bookings as necessary.

-Drive sales and maximize conversion rates through proactive engagement.

-Utilize PMS and related tools effectively to manage leads and bookings.

-Deliver excellent customer service and build long-term client relationships.

- Handle payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling.

- Manage billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and address any guest issues.

- Maintain effective communication with management regarding guest feedback and operational concerns.

- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all guest documentation is filed appropriately.

- Assist with the management of guest house inventory and supplies.

- Ensure compliance with guest house policies and procedures regarding safety and security.

- Report any incidents or emergencies to management immediately.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.

- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems.

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
